5a1  Frederick William Arthy b 21/9/1877. Only son of John Elliot Arthy & Annie Arthy

At the age of 11, Fred W E Arthy departed Liverpool on 31st May 1889 on the SS Parisian. He arrived Quebec on the 10th June 1889.

His destination was Kingston. 62 children from Catholic Childern Protective Society for Kingston via GTR  Mrs Lacy. The Parisian was 

the first large steamer of the Allen Line at 5359 tons in 1881 to have a bilge keels to dampen down rolling, thus reducing sickness.

After much research nothing is known about Frederick as to whether he married and started a family in Canada.

Robert Arthy was born in England abt 1851. After extensive research there are no Robert Arthy/ Arthey registered births around that period.

On Ancestry re 1851 census UK we have found a Robert ARTHEY age 2 . Father Johnathon Brunskill. We must assume he has been 

adopted. The surname of ATHEY is a common surname in Co Durham and North Yorkshire.  We have found spellings of ATHEE/ARTHEY amongst some of these northern Athey families.  If this should be the Robert Arthey found on the 1891 census in Grey Ontario then this is extremely likely to be a different tribe.
